Phenomenology of Supersymmetric Theories with and without R-Parity

چکیده
We review supersymmetry models with and without R-parity. After briefly describing the Minimal Supersymetric Standard Model and its particle content we move to models where R–parity is broken, either spontaneously or explicitly. In this last case we consider the situation where R–parity is broken via bilinear terms in the superpotential. The radiative breaking of these models is described in the context of b–τ and b–τ–t unification. Finally we review the phenomenology of these R-parity violating models.

The possible appearance of R-parity violating couplings, and hence implicitly the question of lepton and baryon number conservation, has been emphasised since the early development of supersymmetric theories. The rich phenomenology implied by R-parity violation has now gained full attention in the search for supersymmetry. In this review, theoretical and phenomenological implications of R-parit...

R-parity stands as an ad hoc assumption in the most popular version of the supersymmetric standard model. More than fifteen years’ studies of R-parity violations have been restricted to various limiting scenarios. We illustrate how the single-VEV parametrization provides a workable framework to analyze the phenomenology of the complete theory of supersymmetry without R-parity. In our comprehens...

R-parity conservation is an ad hoc assumption in the most popular version of the supersymmetric standard model. Most studies of models which do allow for R-parity violation have been restricted to various limiting scenarios. The single-VEV parametrization used in this paper provides a workable framework to analyze phenomenology of the most general theory of SUSY without R-parity. We perform a c...
متن کاملAnomaly Mediated Supersymmetry Breaking without R – Parity
We analyze the low energy features of a supersymmetric standard model where the anomaly–induced contributions to the soft parameters are dominant in a scenario with bilinear R–parity violation. This class of models leads to mixings between the standard model particles and supersymmetric ones which change the low energy phenomenology and searches for supersymmetry. In addition, R–parity violatio...
